Martin Steinacker, Creative Director

“Design is fascinating when it allows you to experience an idea. Keeping it simple is the biggest challenge. In order to achieve that, we have to rethink and refine how we look at things. When we do that, impulses emerge that give us new perspectives. We discover that it’s not just about how we look at things, but also how we experience them through all our physical senses.”

Martin Steinacker has been with MetaDesign since January 2005. As a design director he played a key role in developing the visual identity for Siemens. In September 2007 he joined Rupali Steinmeyer in leading the MetaDesign unit responsible for such clients as Volkswagen, Siemens, Continental, RTL and Deutsche Messe.

After starting his career as a photographer and graduate communications designer at Pixelpark, he went on to co-establish the Berlin offices of frogdesign and in 2002 joined M.E.C.H., the Berlin branch of the McCann-Erickson network.
