Two New Creative Directors at MetaDesign: Stefanie Diers and Martin Steinacker

MetaDesign is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its management board. Stefanie Diers, 37, and Martin Steinacker, 39, have been promoted to the position of creative director in the management team of Germany’s leading corporate identity and branding agency. As design directors, both were highly successful in developing the corporate design for several MetaDesign clients. They now join the head of unit in leading one of the MetaUnits.

Stefanie Diers joined MetaDesign in 1999 as a designer and has designed the visual identity for the Berlin Philharmonic, Deutsche Messe and Continental Truck Tires, among others. In her new position as creative director, she will be responsible for continuing strategy and design development for the DHL and Deutsche Post brands. Ms Diers studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and at the California Institute of the Arts near Los Angeles.

Martin Steinacker joined MetaDesign as a design director in January 2005 and played a key role in developing the visual identity for Siemens. He started his career as a photographer and graduate communications designer at Pixelpark and went on to co-establish the Berlin offices of frogdesign. In 2002, he joined M.E.C.H., the Berlin branch of the McCann-Erickson network. In his new position at MetaDesign he will lead a unit of 40 employees along with Rupali Steinmeyer, serving such clients as Volkswagen, Siemens, Continental and Deutsche Messe.
