MetaDesign Designs 2005/2006 Annual Report of the German Federal Government
MetaDesign designed and produced the German government’s 2005/2006 Annual Report for the Press and Information Office. Entitled “Deutschland voranbringen” (Moving Germany Forward), the report was presented to the public on November 30 and is aimed at German citizens, media and press representatives, as well as interested parties abroad. Published in German and English, it not only reviews the new government’s accomplishments since taking office in November 2005, but also provides an overview of future challenges.
The 85-page publication is citizen-friendly, authentic, lively and modern. This is reflected in its visual design, content and easy readability. Highlighted text passages and a vibrant visual style introduce readers to a range of topics and convey an intimate picture of a transparent, responsible government. With its user-friendly and clear design, the publication provides citizens with an authentic glimpse of political life.
The annual report will be published in an edition of 70,000 copies and can be downloaded as a PDF file at http://www.bundesregierung.de.
MetaDesign developed, designed and produced the report in just eight weeks.
Since 2003, MetaDesign has been the German federal government’s lead corporate design agency, ensuring consistent brand management across all design applications.
