Marion Rachner

Marion Rachner, Head of Human Relations

'In our daily work, we translate the strategy and identity of a company or brand into visual design, thus communicating them on an emotive level. We are looking for co-workers that understand the strategic dimension of what we do and will tackle the job with determination. We often hear from our clients: 'In addition to your professionalism, it is your unconcealed passion for the job that sets you apart from other agencies.' It’s hard to imagine a nicer compliment! It is also one of the expectations we have of present and potential co-workers: heart, brains and passion!'

Marion Rachner joined MetaDesign in 1999 and initially worked as a project director. Between October 2000 and January 2004 she served on the management board directing one of the agency’s four units. Rachner returned from a maternity leave in February 2005 and has since directed MetaDesign’s human relations department.

Before joining MetaDesign, Rachner was in charge of branding, corporate design, marketing and communication at a variety of companies. After doing vocational training in advertising, she worked for five years in market research, advertising and sales promotion at Villeroy & Boch AG, Mettlach. Afterward she served as a marketing manager for Levi Strauss Deutschland GmbH, Heusenstamm, and then worked for six years as a marketing director in the Raab Karcher trading and services group, which is part of Veba (today e.on).
